New Jersey metal legends Overkill will headline a spring-2010 North American tour titled “Killfest 2010″. The tour will span the length of the United States, hitting spots in Canada with one final show at New York City’s Nokia Theater. Support duties coming from from Vader, God Dethroned, Warbringer, Evile and Woe of Tyrants. Overkill’s lead vocals Bobby “Blitz” Ellsworth says, “The road never ends, and that’s a good thing kids! We’ve all been tearing this up for over 25 years now and still going strong. April it starts again and this time it’s “Ironbound”, live and in your face, let the games begin!
The band’s new record, “Ironbound” (look for an advance review shortly) will be available on CD and vinyl, and is set for release on February 9, 2010. “Ironbound” celebrates the band’s monumental 25-year anniversary.
